Refund Policy

His Daughters Heart Medical Transport is committed to providing clear and fair refund practices. Refund eligibility is based on our Cancellation Policy and the

 

circumstances surrounding the scheduled transportation.

​

Refund Eligibility

​

If a prepaid ride is canceled 48 hours or more before the scheduled pickup time, the customer is eligible for a full refund.

 

If a prepaid ride is canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup time, a $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from the amount refunded.

 

For same-day cancellations or no-shows, the $50 cancellation fee will apply.

 

If the amount originally paid for the transportation is less than the applicable cancellation fee, no refund will be due.

Approved Cancellation Exceptions

​

His Daughters Heart Medical Transport understands that emergencies and circumstances beyond a client’s control can occur.

 

In accordance with our Cancellation Policy, the cancellation fee may be waived for certain circumstances, including:

​

• Medical emergencies

• Hospital admission

• Sudden changes ordered by a physician

• Weather-related safety issues

 

Exceptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If a cancellation fee is waived and the trip was prepaid, the amount paid for the canceled transportation will be eligible

 

for a full refund.

 

Refunds for Private Riders

​

Approved refunds for private-pay riders will be returned to the credit or debit card originally used to book and pay for the transportation.

 

Once His Daughters Heart Medical Transport processes a refund, additional processing time may be required before the credit appears on the cardholder’s account.

 

Processing times are determined by the cardholder’s financial institution.

 

Refunds cannot be issued to a different credit card or payment method.

 

Refunds to Facilities and Organizations

​

Approved refunds to healthcare facilities, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, rehabilitation facilities, hospitals, or other organizations will be issued by check.

 

Refund checks will be made payable to the facility or organization responsible for the original payment and sent to the appropriate billing or business address on file.

 

Rides Canceled by His Daughters Heart Medical Transport

If His Daughters Heart Medical Transport cancels a scheduled ride and is unable to provide the transportation, any amount prepaid for the canceled transportation will be eligible

 

for a full refund. No cancellation fee will apply when His Daughters Heart Medical Transportis responsible for canceling the ride.

Rescheduled Rides

​

Rescheduling a ride does not automatically result in a refund.

 

Refund eligibility for a ride that is rescheduled and subsequently canceled will be determined according to the terms of our Cancellation Policy and the timing of the

 

cancellation.

Relationship to Our Cancellation Policy

This Refund Policy should be read together with the His Daughters Heart Medical Transport Cancellation Policy. The Cancellation Policy determines whether a cancellation

 

fee applies, while this Refund Policy explains how eligible refunds are issued.

 

His Daughters Heart Medical Transport reserves the right to review unusual circumstances and make reasonable exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
